Beginner Basketball

Check back for the 2023 Season!

Returning this winter is the Eureka Youth Beginner Basketball League! The focus of this introductory league is to help the kids learn the game and get excited about the sport of basketball. There will be separate divisions for grades K and 1st. Depending on the amount of registrations theses grades could be combined.

Emphasis

Our emphasis is on teaching the participants:

  • Enjoyment of the Game
  • Good Sportsmanship
  • Respecting Teammates and Opponents
  • The Rules of Basketball

Times

All games will be played at The Timbers of Eureka on Saturday mornings starting in December. Practices will be held once a week on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings starting in November.

Levels

All children grade levels Kindergarten through 1st of any experience and skill level are welcome! 

Roster

Roster size is 10 players. Returning coaches may keep teams from year to year.

Registration

Register online by creating an account through CivicRec or in person at The Timbers’ front desk.

Cost

$75 for residents of Eureka, $85 for non-residents.
