Available Full-Time Positions
The City of Eureka (population approximately 10,200) is accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer. There is no application deadline, and interviews will be periodically conducted until an acceptable candidate is hired. Minimum qualifications include Missouri residency, a high school diploma or GED and must meet the State mandated P.O.S.T. 600 hours basic police academy for employment in a first class county. The Police Department works on twelve (12) hour days, rotating shifts every four (4) weeks. The City of Eureka Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the full-time position of Recreation Supervisor. The City of Eureka Police Department is accepting applications for the part-time position of Police Jailer. There is no application deadline, and interviews will be conducted periodically until the position is filled. Starting salary is $12.00 per hour.
