Senior Programs

Due to the shutdown of our facilities because to COVID-19, all senior programs will be cancelled until approximately 4/3/20.

Eureka Parks and Recreation offers a myriad of senior programs open to both residents and non-residents. Seniors from all over the Saint Louis area participate.  For more information, email Ann Moore or call 636-938-6775.  We offer a variety of senior programs each month.  See below for a program descriptions and flyers.

Senior Lunch

Join other local seniors for lunch and social time every first and third Thursday of the month from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. All lunches are homemade.  See the Senior Activity Calendar above for a schedule of lunches.

Senior Lunch Bunch

Meet new friends or meet up with old! We meet at a different local restaurant each time. To RSVP call Ann at 636-938-6775.  See the Senior Activity Calendar above for a schedule of lunches.

Senior Book Bingo

Win the game and choose from a selection of gently used books.  This program is presented by St. Louis County Library. Please register at the Timbers front desk. See the Senior Activity Calendar above for the schedule.

Senior Fitness Classes

The Timbers of Eureka offers a variety of fitness classes.  Each weekday, there is a senior specific class that runs from 10:30 – 11:25 a.m. in the meeting rooms.  These classes are geared towards seniors and many are done in chairs.  See the fitness schedule below for more details about all of our fitness classes.

A Matter of Balance Workshop

This free workshop is open to all seniors in the Eureka and surrounding areas. The workshop is an 8 week course Reservations can be made at The Timbers of Eureka by calling 636-938-6775 or emailing Ann Moore

This free workshop will help you:

  • Learn how to reduce fear of falling
  • Become less likely to have a fall by doing physical activity
  • Have fun discussing useful strategies with your peers
  • Use the participant handbook to set goals and track progress
  • Develop new friendships and communication skills

Oasis Classes
