The Eureka Chamber of Commerce is hosting their 6th Annual Swap Meet & Garage Sale on March 9th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Six Flags. $1.00 per vehicle admission fee (proceeds go to EHS Scholarship Fund). The November 6, 2012 Board of Aldermen meeting has been cancelled. The next regular Board of Aldermen meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 20th.

The Eureka Police Department will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Saturday, September 29, 2012 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Police Building, 120 City Hall Drive, Eureka, Mo. 63025
In addition, the Eureka Police Department also provides a permanent drug drop box in the lobby of the police building for any citizen to safely dispose of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. The drop box is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has scheduled another National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day which will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for those who missed the previous events, or who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of those medications.
The American people have again responded overwhelmingly to the most recent DEA-led National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. On April 28th, citizens turned in a record-breaking 552,161 pounds (276 tons) of unwanted or expired medications for safe and proper disposal at the 5,659 take-back sites that were available in all 50 states and U.S. territories. When the results of the four Take-Back Days to date are combined, the DEA and its state, local, and tribal law-enforcement and community partners have removed over 1.5 million pounds (774 tons) of medication from circulation.
The October 9, 2012 Park Board meeting has been cancelled. The next Park Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 7:00 P.M.

The Board of Aldermen will hold a special open meeting on Thursday, May 24, 2012, 6:00 P.M. at the Eureka City Hall, 100 City Hall Drive, Eureka, Missouri. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a proposed Ordinance relating to certain boundary adjustments.
